Secure Freedom Minute: God Bless Rep. Keith Self – and Ban Sharia

Yesterday, the FBI arrested a reportedly recently “radicalized” 17-year old for allegedly planning to assassinate Texas Congressman Keith Self and perpetrate a terrorist attack on behalf of ISIS. 

Rep. Self co-founded the U.S. House Sharia-Free America Caucus. He’s emerged as among our country’s most knowledgeable, articulate and courageous opponents of that Islamic strategy for conquest. 

Characteristically, he is undeterred, responding to the alleged plot by saying, “Preserving our constitutional republic from radical Islam means accepting the costs that come with it – name-calling, threats, and worse.”

That goal also requires systemic treatment of the critical infrastructure of jihad – the mosques operated in Texas and elsewhere by the Muslim Brotherhood and other sharia-supremacists. They should be investigated as the threats they are to public safety and national security, and no more should be approved at least until that assessment is complete.
