Secure Freedom Minute: Roll Up the Muslim Brotherhood and Its Critical Infrastructure for Jihad

President Trump has correctly described Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdurahman el-Sayed as “a jihadist” tied to “the Muslim Brotherhood.” 

Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis have designated that group as a terrorist organization. Mr. Trump has, too, with respect to three foreign Brotherhood franchises in addition to its Palestinian one, Hamas.

Obviously, public safety and national security are endangered if terrorists can use the Brothers’ hundreds of mosques here as critical infrastructure for violent jihad. And there’s every reason to believe such preparations are happening today across the country, as well as the pre-kinetic “electoral jihad” being practiced by el-Sayed and others.   

President Trump should join in designating the Brotherhood in America as a terrorist group and investigate every one of their mosques as the threats they are. In the meantime, no more should be approved in this country.
