CPDC Webinar:

The CCP Runs the Table Throughout the Western Hemisphere:

Implications for the USA and the Region

Tuesday, Jan 17, 2023
1:00-2:15 p.m. ET

In the wake of the installation of a felonious vassal of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) as president of Brazil and what has the hallmarks of a “Reichstag fire” event in that country’s legislature and supreme court, an alarming fact is now unmistakable: Every major nation in the Western hemisphere is controlled by a Marxist government.

That is the case in capitals across Latin America, thanks in large part to the CCP’s regional version of the old Soviet Communist International (COMINTERN): Lula da Silva’s “Forum of Sao Paolo.” And due to the Chinese Communists’ elite capture and its contribution to the “fundamental transformation” of the Democratic Party in the United States and the Liberal Party in Canada, not only is there no Anglosphere counterweight to the Left south of the Rio Grande. As was evident in last week’s “Three Amigos” summit, Washington and Ottawa are actually onboard with the Left’s transnational and collectivist agenda and the crushing of sovereignty and freedom it requires.

Even in Peru, where the bizarre coup d’etat mounted by the sitting president, Pedro Castillo, resulted in his removal from power and replacement by his Communist running-mate, [   ] Boluarte, Marxist leaders of Cuba, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Bolivia and Colombia have demanded his restoration. Civil disturbances by his supporters – and theirs – are wracking the country, prompting the U.S. State Department to discourage Americans from traveling there, disrupting tourism (an important source of national revenue) and intensifying the pandemic-induced economic difficulties from which Peru has yet to recover.

The next Committee on the Present Danger: China (CPDC) webinar from 1-2:15 on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 will examine these and other developments from the Arctic in Canada’s north to the Antarctic in Chile’s south, their implications for the region and for the United States and what America can do to avert further consolidation of power by the CCP and other enemies of freedom throughout the Western Hemisphere.
