Secure Freedom Minute: A Win for Freedom in Texas and Other American Schools

The cause of freedom was advanced last week in Texas. In the course of five exhausting days of public testimony, line-by-line deliberations and voting, that state’s top educational board approved pro-American, pro-freedom required reading lists, curriculums and standards. 

In what can only be described as non-kinetic trench warfare, a majority of the Texas State Board of Education, led by two of its most valiant patriots, Julie Pickren and Brandon Hall,   worked through hundreds of amendments offered by Democratic members that would have restored cultural Marxist and sharia-supremacist indoctrination in that state – and some twenty others whose schools track with Texan textbooks.

The Red-Green axis is particularly incensed that the SBOE has directed the inclusion of the Bible in public pedagogy for the first time since the 1960s. Let’s pray this important corrective survives the inevitable court challenges and other skullduggery.
