Secure Freedom Minute: The Day After – and the Next Two Months

With yesterday’s nationwide electoral rout, Republicans will be compelled to analyze what went so wrong. Even more important is deciding what they will stand for and do now – in particular, over the next two months.

One overarching mistake was the GOP’s failure to articulate consistently and nationalize what was at stake, namely a choice between freedom and slavery. Now, we’ll have empowered Democrats promoting censorship, sedition and submission to sharia. 

It behooves Donald Trump and outgoing Texas Governor Greg Abbott to seize the day. The President must accelerate construction of the border wall, designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization and join the Israelis in finishing the job in Iran by liberating its people.

And Gov. Abbott must investigate the likelihood that sharia-supremacist mosques in Texas endanger public safety and national security – and ensure no more are approved for the duration.
