Secure Freedom Minute: The Choice is Between Freedom and Slavery, not Craziness

As I speak, it is Election Day. And that means every eligible American citizen is called to contribute to the future direction of our country. 

As it happens, we’re being asked to decide whether we want to continue to enjoy the freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution or embrace and empower adherents to ideologies that require its destruction and have resulted in the enslavement of populations around the world.

To be clear, this portentous choice will be made not only by those who vote, but by those who don’t. That’s right: There are millions of Americans who would overwhelmingly vote for liberty, but who will share responsibility for its imperiling if they don’t. 

If you could be among them, I entreat you to vote in person today, and not effectively cast a vote you wouldn’t at the polls by staying home.
