Secure Freedom Minute: Abolish Slavery, Again

Our country’s most consequential accomplishment since its founding was the abolition of slavery. It took a couple hundred years, the creation of the Republican Party, the election on an abolitionist platform of its presidential candidate, Abraham Lincoln, a bloody Civil War and another century to overcome the Democrats’ adamant opposition to civil rights. 

But we did it.

Now, however, we confront a force that wants not only to reestablish slavery in America. They want to enslave you and everybody else in this country.

Think that can’t happen? Think again.
