Secure Freedom Minute: Censure Adam Schiff!

Representative Adam Schiff personifies much of what is currently wrong with American politics. The former, highly partisan chairman of the House Intelligence Committee has serially abused power to attack his opponents and lies pretty much whenever he opens his mouth. 

Yesterday, the House of Representatives voted on a motion to censure Mr. Schiff for such misconduct. Thanks, however, to twenty Republicans who helped Democrats spare him that ignominy, Schiff likely will believe he can continue baselessly defaming President Trump and others with impunity.

The idea that individuals like Adam Schiff can behave in this fashion, escape any real penalty and proceed to run for higher office – in his case, the U.S. Senate, is deeply repugnant to people of integrity. Fortunately, freshman Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, who initiated the original censure motion, will introduce another one next week designed to command broader support.
