Secure Freedom Minute: Don’t Appease the CCP

It’s ominous that the U.S. Air Force has decided to shut down its small, but highly valued, team monitoring Mandarin-language information about the rapidly growing threat posed by its Chinese counterpart.

Is the closure of the China Aerospace Studies Institute and, apparently, its Navy and Army counterparts, part of a wider effort to appease the Chinese Communist Party during Xi Jinping’s state visit here this week? Our Committee on the Present Danger: China will be critically examining such prospects in the course of a two-hour special this afternoon on Steve Bannon’s War Room program.

What’s clear is that the U.S. military needs more and better insights into the evolving Chinese menace. And Xi needs to be disabused of any notion that we will be unilaterally disarming in his longstanding “unrestricted warfare” against us – which must end now.
