Secure Freedom Minute: Real America’s Voice Comes into Its Own

Last night, a federal judge ordered President Trump to restore the White House press passes of CNN, MSNow and Politico, saying his denying them the opportunity to cover him was  likely unconstitutional. 

Mr. Trump will surely appeal that ruling, given his utter contempt for the “fake news” they in particular practice. 

Amidst this furor, the President stood up for press freedom in response to collusive and coercive efforts by CNN, MsNow and putatively conservative Fox News to black out “pool” coverage of his official activities. Mr. Trump gave that responsibility instead, at least temporarily, to Real America’s Voice.

I’ve been proud to have a show called “Securing America” on that network for six years. But never more than today as it stepped up to perform that important public service and, in so doing, emerged as the full – but far more reliable – peer of what passes for America’s “mainstream media.”
