Secure Freedom Minute: Repudiate Anti-Semitism Now!

Jews are often the proverbial “canaries in the mineshaft.” When societies tolerate, let alone enable, anti-Semitic sentiment and even attacks, they are usually in decline.

In recent days, rising violence against Jews has occurred here as leftist anti-Semites in Congress denounced Israel for its retaliatory actions against Hamas, the terrorist group that just fired 4,000 rockets indiscriminately into the Jewish State.

While President Biden has paid lip-service to Israel’s “right to exist,” he has also enthusiastically endorsed one such legislator, Rashida Tlaib, a Palestinian activist-turned-Representative who has called for its destruction and voted with fellow Democrats to block even defensive weapons sales to the Israelis.

Make no mistake, those who seek to destroy the Jews and their state generally have no love for America, either. We must repudiate and sanction anti-Semitism, or contribute to our country’s unravelling, as well.
