Secure Freedom Minute: Don’t Go There, Joe

This is Frank Gaffney with the Secure Freedom Minute.

There may be a worse time for Joe Biden to pay a visit to the Middle East, but it is hard to think of one. The government of Israel has just fallen, its parliament disbanded and the fifth round of elections in three years called for October.

The Biden team has been emboldening the Palestinians to engage in renewed violence. Jordan’s kingdom is hanging by a thread. And the likelihood of conflict with Iran seems to be growing by the moment.

There is literally no chance that President Biden’s presence will improve matters. His team has fostered regional instability by subverting Israel, appeasing Iran’s mullahs and simultaneously undermining Saudi Arabia and asking it to increase oil production. China and Russia are making regional inroads at our expense.

It’s in the vital interests of the United States for Joe Biden to stay home.
