Amidst the ongoing devastation caused by Joe Biden’s abandoning of our supporters in Afghanistan, opportunities should be seized to demonstrate America’s reliability in supporting its friends, not just pay lip-service to that proposition. Unfortunately, Team Biden has just done the opposite, this time alienating, undermining and endangering our most important partner in the Middle East.…
The governor of Texas visited the Del Rio sector of his state’s border with Mexico yesterday to plead with President Biden to provide the resources needed to stem what amounts to a debilitating invasion of our country. Unfortunately, Mr. Biden had something else on his mind then, as usual. He was at the United Nations…
Tucker Carlson reported last night that a growing number of U.S. military personnel are joining others across the country in refusing to be vaccinated against Covid-19. Such objections may be the beginning in earnest of not only opposition to Joe Biden’s increasingly totalitarian vax mandates and the identity papers – or “passports” – they inevitably…
Nancy Pelosi’s handpicked, partisan investigators are reconvening this week to promote her party line about an “insurrection” in Washington on January 6th, spawned by President Donald Trump and aimed at overthrowing our government. To his credit, U.S. Senator Ron Johnson has challenged that narrative, drawing on first-hand observations and analysis by my Center for Security…
If the Biden-Harris administration is intent on radically and “fundamentally transforming” America, the U.S. military would be a priority target. After all, our armed forces are not only essential to securing the American people. Theirs has long been the nation’s most admired institution, exemplifying as well as defending its Constitution and values. This agenda best…
Evidently, the nation’s top military officer has indeed betrayed our country. Through a spokesman yesterday, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley confirmed that he had conversations last October and in January with his Chinese counterpart aimed at “avoiding unintended consequences or conflict.” That characterization appears to be an effort to spin Milley’s…
Over160 retired Flag Officers for America have recently called for the resignation of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. They deemed it warranted by General Mark Milley’s unconscionable failure of leadership with respect to racist training and purges of military personnel and America’s strategic defeat in Afghanistan. The case for terminating Gen. Milley…
Secretary of State Anthony Blinken testified yesterday before House lawmakers and will do the same with Senate ones today, ostensibly about Biden’s humiliating strategic defeat in Afghanistan. The unmistakable leitmotif, however, is the nature and conduct of this administration more generally. More often than not, as with the Afghan debacle, the beneficiaries are our enemies.…
On the twentieth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, the FBI released some information long sought by survivors concerning Saudi Arabia’s involvement in those murderous jihadist acts. Unredacted revelations suggest a Saudi consular official and a suspected spy helped two of the hijackers. At a moment when we both honor those killed two decades ago and…
Twenty years ago tomorrow, I was in my Washington office after al Qaeda’s terrorists struck our country. Consequently, I had a providential insight into a form of jihad that has proven over the intervening decades to be even more lethal than that day’s violent manifestations. The Sharia-supremacists of the Muslim Brotherhood call it “civilization jihad.”…
In Hollywood, as in life more generally, timing is everything. So, it will be interesting to see how a flattering new movie about Dr. Anthony Fauci fares at the box office this weekend. After all, it was preceded by the leak of 900 government documents confirming that President Biden’s point man on the Covid pandemic…
As we commemorate the murder of nearly 3,000 Americans twenty years ago, the people who made the 9/11 attack possible have already begun to celebrate that act of jihad. The Taliban just kicked their party into high gear with the announcement of their new government. Don’t be fooled by claims that it is an “interim”…
The betrayal of our country involved in Joe Biden’s humiliating strategic defeat in Afghanistan has prompted calls for his resignation, impeachment and even his court-martialing. As awareness grows that a prime beneficiary of this debacle is the Chinese Communist Party, the fact that it has deeply compromised the President and his team can only reinforce…
The Biden administration insists that its end to the Afghan war was an enormous success. To paraphrase Bill Clinton, that depends on what the definition of “success” is. Taking nothing away from the brave Americans who extracted some 120,000 people from the jaws of the Taliban’s killing machine, whether the evacuation was a success will…
Yesterday, President Biden declared an end to the war in Afghanistan and “looked,” as a result, to a “safer,” “more secure” future for America. In so doing, he ignored the central delusion that one side can end a war unilaterally other than by surrendering. Now, we have seen what such an ignominious surrender looks like…
Providentially and to the U.S. military’s credit, its last evacuation flight from Kabul was able to depart Afghan airspace without incident. Now the damage assessment must begin, starting with who has been left behind and what the Taliban and other Sharia-supremacists will do to them. That assessment must also address how this rout came to…
I had the privilege of co-hosting a special edition (here and here) of Steve Bannon’s War Room Pandemic on Saturday. One of its most disturbing insights was Steve’s concerning a U.S. Northern Command disclosure that the Biden team had been planning on relocating Afghan nationals in this country since last April. That helps explain why…
The Biden administration has not only armed the Taliban – the terrorist group now doing business as the government of Afghanistan – with an arsenal of advanced weapons. Those jihadists have also been armed with what one unnamed defense official called “a kill list” identifying U.S. personnel, contractors and Afghan allies. That’s almost certainly a…
An alarming pattern is now unmistakable. The Biden-Harris administration repeatedly accommodates the Chinese Communist Party. This may be shocking and should be recognized as ominous, but it certainly is no surprise. The latest example is the reported inability of the U.S. intelligence community to confirm that a Chinese biological warfare lab in Wuhan was…
My beloved boss, Ronald Reagan, repeatedly warned that “Every generation faces an existential threat to freedom,” adding that it had to be fought for and defended, and passed on to the next generation to do the same. With each passing day, it becomes clearer that we are now beset by the existential threat to liberty…
